DC United are rocking towards the MLS playoffs with a lot of praise going Rooney’s way. He has had a massive impact on the team with 10 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses since he joined. But, before that DC United had managed just 11 points with 2 wins, 5 draws and 7 losses.
United are on a three-game winning streak and haven’t lost in their last eight games. Conversely, Toronto have won just two games in their last seven while losing the other five. They have lost their last two away matches by a 2-0 scoreline in both while United have kept two clean sheets in their last three home matches.
Orlando City have very little to play for in this match and are in terrible form. They are without a win in their last 13 games and have no hope of qualifying for the playoffs. Even in their last match, they didn’t see too interested.
Seattle Sounders need to win this game to maintain their spot in the MLS playoffs and come into this match in fine form. They have won their past two games scoring eight goals in the process while conceding just one. They lost their last game on the road against LA Galaxy, but they had won four in a row before that.
Sounders have pretty good value considering their opponents and I am backing them to win this one.
