Valencia v Man United – Under 2.5 goals

I struggle to see an entertaining match in this one. Man United are looking to win their third Champions League away match in a row, but if they do it will most likely be a late goal to edge a win.

But, they face a Valencia side that are shrewd customers at home, drawing six of their eight La Liga matches while conceding just six goals and scoring just eight. Only one home match in the league has seen over 2.5 goals.

Conversely, United have seen over 2.5 goals land in their last five away matches in the Premier League, and over 2.5 in their two away matches in the Champions League.

But, I see Valencia cancelling out this game just like the bore-draw at Old Trafford earlier this season. United have a big game against Liverpool this Sunday, but they should still start a strong team in this match if Juventus somehow slip up against Young Boys.

However, only one team has beaten Valencia at home this season, and I see another painful to watch draw landing tonight.

Man City v Hoffenheim – BTTS

Man City are struggling win an injury crisis at the moment with just 15 players available for tonight’s match. They will have to start a fairly strong team but expect to see some youngsters like Foden or Diaz in the team tonight.

This weakened team needs just a draw to finish top of the table, but Hoffenheim will be pressing for a win to qualify for the Europa League. Hoffenheim are a team that is more than capable of scoring a couple of goals tonight, as they have done in their last four games on the road.

They have scored eleven goals in their last away games while conceding eight. Also, both teams have scored in their last seven matches in a row while City have seen both teams score in three of their last four.
