Barcelona v Real Madrid06/02/2019 20:00
Aberdeen v Rangers06/02/2019 19:45
A little midweek El Clásico for us to enjoy this Wednesday! Although I will likely be watching the Everton v Man City game, I am sure this will be a cracker. When these two teams meet, it is always a spectacle, and Real Madrid have hit fine form at just the right time.
Real have won their last five matches in all competitions while scoring two or more goals in each match. They have seen both teams score in three of those five games though as they continue to struggle at the back.
Meanwhile, Barcelona have won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five games. Barca smashed Sevilla (6-1) in their second leg of the last round at the Camp Nou, and this has the potential to see just as many goals.
Both teams are still very capable of racking up plenty of goals this season, but their defensives have been questionable most of the season. Both teams have scored in their last fifteen meetings at the Camp Nou, and I do not see that amazing trend stopping tomorrow night.
A huge game in the title race in Scotland with both teams realistically needing three points from this match. Just two points separate these two teams as they both look to put pressure on Celtic at the top of the table.
Aberdeen are unbeaten in their last five matches in all competitions while scoring six goals in their last two matches. But, they are winless in their last two home matches as they lost to Celtic (3-4) and drew to Kilmarnock (0-0) in the league.
However, Aberdeen have scored 13 goals in their last five home matches while conceding seven, and I see this being a high-scoring, open match.
Rangers go into this game needing all three points, they have won four of their last five matches while losing one. Their away record has been slightly patchy, but they are more than capable of scoring goals with six in their last three games on the road.
This fixture is not known for its goals, but both teams will want to push for three points as a draw really isn’t good for either team at this point.
