Kilmarnock v Rangers – Both teams to score

Kilmarnock are having an incredible season as they host Rangers in this midweek clash. They are just one point behind the league leaders (Celtic) and second place Rangers. Kilmarnock have only failed to score in one home match this season (Against Hearts) while beating Celtic (2-1) earlier in the season.

Kilmarnock have scored two or more goals in their last four home matches in a row, winning all four, scoring a total of ten goals. But, they have conceded in three of their last five matches, and I struggle to see them keeping out Rangers in this match.

Both teams have scored in four of Kilmarnock’s last five matches while Rangers have seen both teams score in three of their last five away matches. This will likely be a tight game, but a 1-1 scoreline is certainly on the cards.

Hearts v Dundee – Hearts win

Hearts hit a bump in the road just before the new year, but they are playing much better football again with three wins in a row. They have kept three clean sheets in the process winning 2-0, 1-0 and 1-0.

Meanwhile, Dundee continues to struggle at the bottom of the table with just 10 points, and a -31 goal difference. They have lost four of their last five matches on the road while drawing one. But, they have conceded 11 goals in their last three away matches as they faced tough opposition.

I expect this trend to continue with another loss for them tomorrow evening. Hearts only real disappointments at home have come against the top sides in the league, losing to Celtic (1-3), Rangers (1-2) and Kilmarnock (1-2).

But, they have won most of their other home fixtures against lower teams, and I struggle to see Dundee threatening that with their poor record this season.
