Braintree v Leyton O24/09/2018 19:45 |
Away Win |
Leyton Orient celebrating a goal in their 3-0 away win over Harrogate Town. Can they make in two away wins in a row?
First versus the bottom of the table, with Leyton Orient coming off the back of their most impressive win this season. They managed to beat Harrogate 3-0 on the road, despite Harrogate’s very strong home form in the league. To win and keep a clean sheet against the top scorers in the league (24 goals) was very impressive indeed.
Braintree carried on with their miserable form, losing 1-0 once again. In fact, they have lost 1-0 in their past four games. Good job for keeping it just to one goal, but no scoring in four games is a serious worry for Braintree. Especially as they come up against the second-best defence in the league.
It will certainly be a shock if Leyton Orient does not go on to win this game, scoring an average of 1.83 goals a game and conceding just 0.67 against. This should be their easiest fixture to date. But, let’s hope they go in with the right attitude and do not underestimate Braintree.
Solihull Moors go into this match in cracking home form, with four wins, one draw and one loss. While scoring 10 goals and conceding just three. Dagenham are almost the opposite with their form, losing five matches away from home and winning just one. While scoring just four goals and conceding eight.
Dagenham has the ability to score a goal and have scored in four of their six away matches. But, they have only managed one goal in each game. Solihull Moors have kept five clean sheets this season, with four of them coming at home. Only conceding to top teams in Hartlepool and Sutton.
Their H2H meetings have been goal fests, with at least three goals being scored in all four of their meetings. Solihull won 3-1 away but drew 2-2 at home last season. However, they are in much better form this season and average 2+ goals in all of their meetings against Dagenham.
Solihull also comes off the back of a 5-0 thrashing of Bromley at home, whereas Dagenham comes from a disappointing 1-0 loss to Eastleigh.
Sutton are playing bottom of the league Dover and comes on the back off an impressive 3-0 home win against Wrexham, who have one of the best defences in the league. Dover are currently conceding an average of 2 goals a game while scoring just 0.83. They have lost their last two matches and four of their last five away matches.
Sutton should follow up their excellent win against Wrexham with another three points here. Sutton have been fairly consistent in their last five matches, winning four but losing 4-0 against Boreham Wood, was a bit of a shock. They have kept five clean sheets so far this season, and could well keep another against a Dover side that has scored just one goal in their last five away matches.
