Dortmund v Werder Bremen – BTTS

People will be quick to jump on Dortmund for this match, but they should not overlook this capable Werder Bremen side. Yes, Dortmund’s home form is pretty special this season, but they have conceded in their last five home matches in a row including a 2-1 against Dortmund in mid-December.

In fact, Dortmund have seen both teams score in seven of their last eight matches. Meanwhile, Werder Bremen have scored in all 15 away matches this season while seeing both teams score in four of their last five games on the road.

Both teams scoring has landed in all but two of Bremen’s matches on the road this season, and I see it landing again tonight in this match. Dortmund are still prolific scorers at home, but they have kept just two clean sheets, and I see good value in them conceding and scoring tonight.

Brentford v Barnet – BTTS

The magic of the FA Cup will land this tasty BTTS pick, right? Barnet’s new Manager Darren Currie has made an excellent scoring start with six goals in his last two games. Meanwhile, Brentford are scoring goals for fun at the moment, but their defence is still questionable.

Brentford have conceded in a massive 83% of their league games this season, and I do see Barnet getting a goal or two in this one. Both teams have scored in Brentford’s last four matches in a row as they have scored 15 goals while conceding eight.

I am hoping for an entertaining repeat of their 3-3 thriller last Monday, but we will see if the FA Cup magic helps us in this one. Barnet do not have much to play for asides from this big game for them, I am expecting them to really push for a result in this game.
