Bournemouth come off the back of a humiliating 4-0 loss, to an out of form Burnley away from home. But, they have been in great form apart from that game, averaging 2+ goals in every home match so far. Yet, they have also conceded two goals in their last two home matches, while Blackburn have been impressing in the Championship this season.
Blackburn come off the back of a good 3-2 away win against Stoke, but Stoke did miss a late penalty to get the equalising goal. Blackburn have certainly shown they are a threat going forward, with their star man, Bradley Dack in great form.
The early rounds of this cup is usually a goal fest and these two teams are more than capable of scoring in this one. There will be rotations in Bournemouth’s side, but they have the likes of Defoe to call on up front, but Bournemouth are not in action again until next Monday, so we could see a fairly strong lineup.
West Brom managed to keep their first clean sheet this season, but it was against a poor Millwall team that always struggles on the road. Before that, West Brom had conceded in every match, but also scored in all bar one. Both teams have scored in seven of their nine league matches this season.
Crystal Palace have been pretty solid on the road this season, while winning three games and losing one, but scoring in the loss. Palace are not in action again until next Monday, so we could see a fairly strong lineup. But, West Brom are the top scorer’s in the league this season, with 22 goals while conceding 12.
West Brom are averaging 2.44 goals per match in the Championship and should start a strong team in this one. We expect both teams to get on the scoresheet and could even see the Baggies upsetting Palace in this one.
