Will Man City be eliminated from the Champions League by an English team for the second year in a row? If Spurs hope to achieve the same as Liverpool last season, they will have to perform in their home leg tomorrow night.
Spurs are “back home” and let’s face it, the stadium is beautiful. Spurs have been solid at “home” is the league and the Champions League.
But, they have only technically played in this stadium in one competitive game, winning 2-0 against Palace.
Spurs have scored in all but two of their home games this season, failing to do so against Man City and Man United.
However, City tend to be a lot stronger at the back in domestic games, but their cup form has seen them conceding goals as they are yet to hit their peak under the pressure of the Champions League.
Man City conceded in two of their three away games in the group stages, while also conceding two goals away at Schalke. But, they did score at least two goals in all of those games too, as they rarely struggle to find the back of the net.
Meanwhile, Spurs have scored in all of their Champions League games this season while defeating Dortmund 3-0 in their last home match.
I can see there being quite a few opportunities for both sides in this game, and Spurs will want to get a positive result before traveling to the Etihad. A stadium in which Man City can be frighteningly effective.
City have scored in all but one of their away matches this season, and I expect them to get on the scoresheet in this one. But, I do see them conceding too, with BTTS looking good value at 4/6.

Oh, Bristol City, I am still slightly upset with you after that 2-2 draw against Wigan. But, here’s hoping you redeem yourselves with a nice BTTS pick against West Brom tomorrow night.
Bristol City were in a slight rough patch a few weeks ago, but they have since found scoring form, and are now back in a playoffs spot in sixth place. But, they are just two points above Derby and will need a positive result in this match.
West Brom are pretty much out of the race for the top two finish now after their defeat at Millwall. They will be disappointed not to get on the scoresheet with Jay Rodriguez missing a penalty.
But, the Baggies are capable on the road, and I see them getting a goal or two in this match. West Brom have scored in ten of their last 12 away games.
Meanwhile, Bristol City have scored in ten of their last eleven home matches while seeing both teams score in four of their last five home games.
West Brom will be without key defender Hegazy as he received a red card in their loss against Millwall, which will certainly help Bristol City in the attack.
Still, West Brom have one of the best away records in the league, and I can see them getting a goal in this match too.
