PAOK v Ajax06/08/2019 18:00
This will be POAK’s first competitive game of the season, but they have had a solid pre-season to prepare. They have won their last four pre-season games, score 18 goals while conceding 2. But, you cannot look too much into pre-season games.
Meanwhile, Ajax drew their first competitive game away to Vitesse 2-2. They still look very dangerous going forward, and I see them getting a goal or two tonight, but they do look vulnerable at the back.
POAK have struggled in the Champions League in recent years, but they are consistent goal scorers at home, only failing once in their last 7 home games in the competition. But, they do struggle at the back, failing to keep a clean sheet in their last eight home games in the UCL.
Meanwhile, Ajax have been in excellent form on the road in recent times, scoring in 15 of their last 16 away UCL games. But, they have seen both teams score in 13 of those away games too.
With key players leaving the Dutch giants, especially De Ligt, they may struggle at the back while new players settle into the team.
As for the 17/20 price, I see good value in both teams finding the back of the net tonight.
