Tom Lawrence will likely feature in this match, but can they bounce back from the disappointing 2-0 loss to Denmark last time out.
Both teams will likely rotate in this match, with Ryan Giggs forced to experiment after Bale has been ruled out through injury. He has a number of young talents coming through, but nowhere close to the depth Luis Enrique has available to him.
Spain have bounced back after the turmoil of losing their manager in the World Cup, with impressive wins against England and Croatia in their last two matches. Scoring six goals against the World Cup finalists is no easy feat, and neither is beating England on their home soil.
I expect Giggs will hand some starts for a few young players in this one, but they will be in for a tough time against a Spanish team that could field two very good teams with their squad depth. Spain are without Isco, Carvajal, Roberto and Costa, but they will have the likes of Suso, Thiago, Saul, Rodrigo, Asensio etc.
Spain should continue their fine form here and carry on their winning momentum for their next Nation’s League match. I expect a reasonably comfortable win for Spain.
Israel comes into this match in terrible form, with four home defeats in a row. Israel hasn’t won on their home turf since a friendly against their U21 team back in March 2017… and have lost five of their last six matches while scoring just two goals in the process. In their last ten matches, they have one win against a lowly-ranked Lichtenstein while drawing one and losing eight.
Scotland comes from a solid 2-0 win against Albania in their last match, making it four wins in their last ten matches. But, they have failed to score in three of their last four matches, so the draw no bet is there as a safety net. Against lower ranked teams, Scotland has done very well winning eight and drawing three of their last 11 fixtures.
The Scots have won all three of their previous H2H matches, but I have this feeling it could be a hard-fought draw, hence the Draw No Bet pick.
