SHL and hockey isn’t a usual subject here on BettingLounge but we think we found to great value bets for tonights game. SHL is the top league in Swedish Icehockey and the new season just started this weekend.

Tonight is Djurgårdens first home match of the season and we’ll better believe that they want to get their first win for the season.

Djugården – Rögle: Djurgåden to win

Djurgården is one of the biggest favourites for the coming season and it’s easy to understand why. They have really broaden their squad with several new acqusitions, especially at center, and will continue to build on their successful game from last season. Coach Robert Ohlsson is getting into his third season at Djurgården at the results seem to be coming.

Djugården started the season away at Frölunda and ended up losing the game 2-1, but they had a really strong game – especially in the first two periods. We think that Djugården will leave it all on the ice tonight and get their fans the first win of the season. The odds is quite low, but they’re also facing one of the weakest teams of the SHL.

Brynäs – Frölunda: Under 4.5 goals

Both Brynäs and Frölunda is two teams with high hopes for the season. Brynäs had a really strong end to last season and Frölunda is always among the favourites. This summer Frölunda has really focused on getting their defence tighter (as showed in their first game this saturday) and we feel that tonights game could be without to many goals.

We’re betting on under 4.5 goals because of Frölundas strengthened defense and Brynäs doesn’t have the best offense out there neither. Frölunda is playing away and will look to shut down Brynäs which should make this a pretty uneventful game.
