Preston come off the back of an excellent away win against Nottingham Forest while Millwall have drawn their last two games. Preston are in the bottom half of the table, but their ability is underrated in this match-up.
Firstly, Millwall do not travel well with no wins on the road this season while losing seven and drawing three. Conversely, Preston are solid at Deepdale and are unbeaten in five home matches winning three and drawing two. But, they have scored 14 goals in their last five home matches while conceding just six.
They are prolific scorers at Deepdale, with 23 goals in 10 matches, but they tend to concede quite a few goals with just two clean sheets. However, I can see Preston winning this game, and maybe even building on their clean sheet away at Forest in their last match.
Charlton beat league leaders Portsmouth at Fratton Park during the week, and now face the 23rd placed AFC Wimbledon. This should be a much easier game than Portsmouth, but can they get the win?
Charlton have won four of their last five matches while winning three of their last four home matches. They have won 2-0 against Doncaster and Barnsley and 2-1 against Pompey in that time.
Impressive wins against promotion rivals while Wimbledon have lost their last six away matches in a row scoring just two goals. I struggle to see Wimbledon improving that shocking away record against this strong Charlton team.
Sunderland won their last home match 4-2 against Barnsley while remaining unbeaten in their last eleven matches. They are a very capable team, coming up against a poor Bristol Rovers side.
Bristol Rovers have lost their last four matches in a row while scoring just three goals and conceding eleven. They did pick up a freak away win against Blackpool in November but that has been their only positive result in five matches.
Sunderland will look to push for that automatic promotion spot with a win against a poor Rovers side who are down in the bottom four of the table.
