Oh Steven, betting on your own team? Yes, yes I am! Look, Norwich are playing beautiful football at the moment, and Millwall simply do not travel well. In fact, Millwall has not won at Carrow Road for 50 years.
Millwall have shipped 2+ goals in six of their last seven matches on the road while losing six and drawing one. They have failed to score in five of their eight away matches this season and I do not see that record improving against a defensively solid Norwich team.
I do not see this being a high-scoring win for Norwich, but a comfortable 1 or 2-0 win will make me happy.
Villa are still a bit shaky even with the new manager, and they will surely have a tough time at the Pride Park Stadium. Lampard’s Derby has turned Pride Park into a bit of a fortress with just one loss, five wins and two draws.
Whereas, Villa are poor on the road with three losses in a row and no wins since their first away match. I am a big fan of the odds for a Derby win here against a Villa team that struggle to keep a clean sheet combined with their poor away form.
Now, I am not a massive Ligue 1 fan but the odds for a Montpellier win seem too good to pass up. Angers are sitting down in 15th with no wins in their last five matches while losing three and drawing two. They are without a win in their last four home games while losing two.
Conversely, Montpellier sits up in 2nd having won four of their last five games while keeping clean sheets in each win. In their last match, they beat Marseille 3-0 while also winning to nil in the two games before that.
They are yet to lose away from home this season, but they have drawn three of those games. However, they should have more than enough to put a couple of goals past Angers and most likely keep another clean sheet.
To round it off, I am expecting the Cherries to pile of further misery for Newcastle fans with a solid away win. Newcastle did manage to win their first home game of the season last time out, but Watford have been pretty poor recently.
Conversely, Bournemouth are in great form and started the home match against United beautifully. If they continue with that kind of play, they will cruise to a victory tomorrow. The Cherries have won their last two away matches to nil while scoring seven goals in the process.
They did slip up against Burnley and Chelsea, but I feel they will be too strong for an injury-plagued, weak Newcastle side.
