Brentford v Stoke21/09/2019 15:00
Bayer Leverkusen v Union Berlin21/09/2019 14:30
Wycombe v Portsmouth21/09/2019 15:00
Brentford have lost three of their last four games and won just one, but, those three losses came away from home, and that is something Brentford are used to.
The Bee’s are solid at home and won the vast majority of their points at home last season (and currently this season too).
They come up against a struggling Stoke side that have lost six of their opening seven games, and I see another routine win for the home side tomorrow.
Brentford beat Derby County 3-0 in their last home game while drawing and losing the other. But, they are a lot better at home, and I see them taking advantage of Stoke’s leaky defence.
Stoke have conceded eight goals in their last three away games, albeit scoring one goal in each, I still think Brentford will outscore them and get the job done.
Two attacking sides go head to head tomorrow, and I can see quite a few goals.
Leverkusen will have to bounce back from their disappointing home loss in their opening UCL game, losing 2-1 to Lokomotiv Moscow. They might be a bit fatigued, and this could easily play into Union Berlin’s hands.
Union Berlin will undoubtedly play with their attacking style, just like they did against Dortmund in their 3-1 win a few weeks back.
But, Union Berlin have failed to keep a clean sheet so far, and keeping out this Leverkusen side out away from home will be a very difficult task indeed.
I am surprised at the odds, to be honest, and I recommend this tip as a decent value bankroll builder if anyone is looking for one.
Leverkusen have seen both teams score in eight of their last nine home games in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Union Berlin have seen it land in three of their four opening games while scoring seven goals and conceding eight.
Another good value BTTS tip with the in-form Wycombe hosting a slowly improving Portsmouth side.
Wycombe have made a blistering start to their League One campaign, and their strong home form plays a big part in their success. They have won four and drawn one of their first five home games, scoring a massive 13 goals while conceding 7 (just one clean sheet against struggling Bolton).
Meanwhile, Portsmouth have made a mixed start to their season, but they are looking much better now after going unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions.
Pompey have scored in two of their three away games so far, netting against tough opponents in Sunderland and Blackpool, and I see them scoring at least one goal tomorrow.
But, keeping out this free-scoring Wycombe side looks unlikely, and I see good value in both teams finding the back of the net.
