Mensur Suljovic v Daryl Gurney18/04/2019 19:15 |
Gurney Win+2 or more 180s each |
Rob Cross v MVG18/04/2019 20:00 |
Over 7.5 180s |
Michael Smith v Gerywn Price18/04/2019 20:45 |
Over 7.5 180s |
Peter Wright v James Wade18/04/2019 21:40 |
Wade Win+ 2 or more 180s each |
This is a tough game to call, but I am drawn towards Gurney for this one. He has been throwing some brilliant darts in recent weeks, and Mensur has been a bit of the pace.
Gurney drew his last Premier League match 7-7, but it is a good result against an inform James Wade.
Daryl Gurney won their last PL meeting, winning 7-3, hitting six 180s and averaging 98.28 while Mensur hit 3 180s while averaging 91.58.
As I said, Gurney has been throwing some brilliant darts, averaging over 100 in four of his last six matches.
Meanwhile, Mensur has been throwing decent darts, but not at that level, averaging 91.58, 93.69, and 88.80 in his last three Premier League games.
Yes, Mensur is still throwing some decent darts, I just think Gurney will outplay him in this one.
For the two or more 180s, Gurney is more than capable of filling the treble twenty when he is on form.
He has hit 14 180s in his last four PL games and should hit the two or more we need here.
Meanwhile, Mensur is pretty consistent with his 180 scoring, hitting two or more in 8 of his 11 PL games.
Now, this is could easily fly in, or it could be quite tight. All depends on how much MVG and Cross feel like switching to the 19’s.
Although, Cross is capable of hitting all eight if he’s on it, and he is throwing some brilliant darts at the moment.
Look, this should be an absolute cracker of a match, and it’s hard to split them.
I can see this game going the distance, and it should give both players plenty of time to rack up the 180s.
Rob Cross 180s: 4, 3, 8, 1, 4, 3, 2, 3, 2, 4, 2 in the Premier League so far.
MVG 180s: 2, 2, 5, 2, 6, 2, 1, 2, 2, 3, 5.
Let’s hope for a long game, and both players scoring big tonight!
Long shot bet: Cross to hit the most 180s and lose at 10/3.
Man, the 180s markets could kill me this evening, but I see real value in all the 180 picks tonight.
This is another tough match to call, however, I see both players slugging it out in the 180s department.
Michael Smith is one of the best known 180 hitters on the circuit, hitting 5, 3, 2, 4, 3, 1, 3, 3, 4, 6, 2 in the PL so far.
Price is more than capable of hitting a number of 180s himself, and he very much thrives on hitting big scores and big checkouts as a massive part of his game.
Gerwyn has hit 2, 2, 4, 5, 4, 4, 0, 4, 5, 1, 6 so far.
With the longer format, both players should be able to hit this total as I see this game going the distance.
I am hoping both players feed off each others 180 scoring, and it has the potential to fly in!
Wade is throwing some of the best darts of his career right now, and I see him getting a victory against an inconsistent Peter Wright tonight.
James Wade has won three of the last four Pro Tours while winning both Pro Tour events in Barnsley last weekend. The man is on fire!
Wright is struggling at the moment, but he is more than capable of hitting the two 180s we need here.
Peter Wright 180s: 4, 3, 2, 1, 4, 2, 3, 5, 2, 3, 3
James Wade 180s: 1, 3, 2, 7, 3, 3, 2, 2, 5, 3, 4
Peter Wright has not won since beating RVB in early March, and I struggle to see him winning here tonight.
Either put a small stake on the longshot acca or singles on bets you agree with most!
