Manchester United v Leicester14/09/2019 15:00
Wolverhampton v Chelsea14/09/2019 15:00
This should be a cracking game, and I am expecting goals at both ends.
Man United come into this is fairly average form, and they have seen both teams score in their last three games, drawing two and losing one.
United have been struggling to keep clean sheets at Old Trafford in recent times, and I expect that trend to continue against a dangerous Leicester side.
The Red Devils look far from assured at the back and it shows in their lack of clean sheets with just 2 in their last 15 home games.
But, United have scored in all but three of those 15 games, and I see good value in them scoring against a Leicester side that have kept just one clean sheet in their last five games.
Meanwhile, Leicester are in fine scoring form, netting six goals in their last three games, but they have seen both teams score in each game.
The Foxes were consistent goalscorers on the road last season, and I expect a similar trend to continue into the 19/20 campaign.
Leicester scored in all but two away games last season, and they have scored in both away games so far.
Wolves have struggled a bit with extra fixtures from the Europa League with one loss, and three draws so far. But, they have qualified to the group stage and will be fairly fresh after the International break (for some players).
Wolves will see this as a good opportunity to pick up their first win of the campaign as they host a young and vulnerable Chelsea side.
They have scored in their last seven home games and have a very good record at Molineux while performing well against the “big six” last season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are looking good going forward under Lampard, but man do they look vulnerable at the back.
The Blues have conceded nine goals in their opening four games with six of them coming on the road.
With Wolves scoring consistently at home, and Chelsea’s vulnerable defence, the hosts should manage a goal or two.
But, I also see Chelsea getting in on the action as their young attacking lineup has looked dangerous in their last few games.
Wolves have seen both teams score in their last five games while Chelsea has seen it land in their last four.
Both teams scored in their fixtures last season, and I see good value in it landing again this Saturday.
