OkPremier League Darts is back, and if it anything like last week, we are in for a spectacle!
James Wade v Mensur Suljovic14/03/2019 20:00 |
Wade Win+ Most 180s |
Rob Cross v Raymond van Barneveld14/03/2019 20:40 |
Cross Win |
Oh, the Machine is well and truly turning! James Wade is flying in the Premier League at the moment, and he destroyed Daryl Gurney 7-0 in his last match.
Wade is averaging 101.30 over his five PL matches, which is the joint highest with Rob Cross.
He is also the joint second highest 180 hitter in the league, scoring the maximum 16 times in five games to an average of 0.314 per leg.
Only Michael Smith has a bet 180 per leg ratio, and it is only 0.316 compared to Wade’s 0.3.14.
Meanwhile, Mensur has just one win in his five matches, while only hitting ten 180s in that time to an average of 01.82 per leg.
Mensur has improved his 180 game, but he is certainly not known for hitting them, and he has hit the maximum just once in his last 21 legs of Premier League Darts.
Wade is certainly capable of winning this match, and I see great value in him taking the points and hitting the most 180s at 13/5.
I think this will be a fairly standard victory for Rob Cross if he plays to his brilliant potential.
He played excellently in his 7-3 victory against Michael Smith last time out and made it to the UK Open Final before that.
Rob Cross has the second best tournament average so far while being clinical in his checkout with a 50.88 checkout %.
Barney is certainly struggling, and his average and form shouldn’t bother Cross in this match.
Of course, every pro can win on their day, but I Cross is still good value at 1/2 to win this one.
Barney has lost his last two PL matches and is without a win so far.
I expect this losing streak to continue tonight against a Rob Cross that has won four of their last five head to head meetings.
