Vincent van der Voort v Lourence Ilagan – Ilagan over 1.5 180s

Not a lot is known about Lourence Ilagan, but he has been in the game for quite some time. In fact, he has won four Asia Pro Tours this year with averages over 90 in three of those final matches. He has a good game, and he can throw some great darts.

In his last final win against Val Capuyan, he hit five 180’s in nine legs of darts and the odds for just two or more 180s here is too good to past up. Yes, it could be hard to do it on the biggest stage in the World, but he should come into this as an underdog with no real pressure.

Also, Vincent has been struggling a lot this year with injuries and form, it could be a fairly long game tonight.

Ryan Joyce v Anastasia Dobromyslova – Ryan Joyce 3-0

There will certainly be pressure on Ryan Joyce in this match, but he averages consistently over 85 and it should be more than enough to get a comfortable win tonight. Anastasia is a good player, but Joyce has been playing well this year while qualifying for a number of European Tour events this year.

I expect Joyce to throw a high 80/90+ average tonight as he looks to build his confidence for the tournament.

Raymond van Barneveld v Darius Labanauskas – over 3.5 sets

I think Barney will win this match, but it could be pretty close. Darius surprised me in his last match while missing a shocking amount of doubles he still managed a solid 93.57 average.

He can certainly score, but my worry is the finishing with just a 28.57% landing 10 of his 35 attempts at a double against Matt Edgar. Still, if he lands his doubles he could cause another upset tonight against a Barneveld that has been off his best this year.
