New York City v Seattle Sounders04/07/2019 00:00 |
BTTS |
A 0:00 am kickoff sees us head over to the USA to Yankee Stadium in New York, as New York City host Seatle Sounders.
New York City have been a tough team to beat this season, losing just once in 15 games. They have won their last four games, including two US Open Cup games.
Their last MLS game saw them beat the Eastern Conference leaders, Philadelphia Union 4-2. And, they have now scored two or more goals in six of their last eight matches to a total of 22 goals.
New York City are unbeaten at home this season, and I struggle to see them losing this game. But, there is more value in seeing both teams get on the scoresheet tonight.
As we said, New York City have been scoring for fun in recent games, and they have scored a whopping 13 goals in their last three games at home.
But, they have kept just one clean sheet in their last four home fixtures.
Meanwhile, Seattle Sounders have hit a rough patch in form, losing four of their last five, but they did win their last match at home.
Seattle have been struggling for points, but they have scored in each of their last five games while only failing to score twice in 17 games.
Both teams have scored in four of Seattle’s last five games, while NYC have seen it land in five of their last six.
Also, their head to head record has seen both teams score in three of their four meetings.
At 4/5, there seems to be good value in both teams finding the back of the net tonight.
