Charlton v Doncaster17/05/2019 19:45
Who will meet Sunderland in the League One Playoffs final at Wembley? Well, if Charlton’s home record is anything to go by, it should be The Addicks.
Charlton were fantastic at The Valley during the season, and they finished in fine form at home going unbeaten throughout 2019.
In fact, Charlton won 16 of their 23 home games, drawing 5 and losing just 2. They scored 41 goals in that time while only conceding 15.
Meanwhile, Doncaster struggled a fair bit on the road, losing 10, drawing 6 and winning 7. They had a negative goal difference away from home, scoring 31 goals and conceding 37.
Donny won just one of their last 10 away games (beating bottom of the table Bradford 1-0) while drawing 4 and losing 5.
Doncaster’s main issues comes at the back, keeping just two clean sheets on the road all season (league games).
I can see Doncaster struggling to keep this prolific Charlton side out tonight, and I see value in The Addicks winning at evens.
As for the corners, Charlton average 6.24 corners while conceding 5.63 to an average of 11.87 overall.
While Doncaster average 5.67 corners while conceding 5.80 to an average of 11.47 overall.
I do not see either team sitting back in this match, and they should be able to get at least four corners each.
In the reverse fixture, Donny won ten corners and Charlton managed six.
