Waalwijk v PSV Eindhoven II09/11/2018 19:00
GA Eagles v Dordrecht09/11/2018 19:00
Jong Ajax have struggled on the road this season, but their form is a lot better at home. With four wins in their last five home games while scoring 12 goals and conceding 6. Ajax are more than capable of getting a goal or two tonight.
NEC have been struggling in their last five matches, with a mixed bunch of results including two wins and three losses. But, they are performing well on the road with four wins in their last five. Scoring 11 goals and conceding six goals in those five matches.
Both teams have been struggling at the back, but they can both score goals. NEC have scored in 10 of their 12 fixtures while Ajax have scored in all but 1 of their 12 matches.
Almere City will be disappointed after losing two games in a row to promotion rivals GAE and Twente, but they did bounce back with a win against Helmond Sport. Cambuur had a great start to the season, but they have drifted to eighth while losing their last three away matches.
In those losses, they conceded eight goals while only managing one and I can see a similar result tonight. Almere have been solid at home this season, despite their 1-0 loss to GAE. They won their three home games before that and drew the other, scoring eight goals and conceding four.
Cambuur’s hero from the last match, Justin Mathieu received a red card and will not be available in this match.
I will be surprised if this isn’t both teams to score goal-fest tonight. Jong PSV may have let me down in their match against Den Bosch, but I have faith in their ability to find the back of the net against Waalwijk tonight.
Similarly, I see Waalwijk scoring past this leaky PSV backline that has seen both teams score in their six of their last seven matches. Waalwijk have seen both teams score in their last four matches in a row while conceding two against the bottom of the table Utrecht.
Jong PSV has seen both teams score in all six of their away games this season, with over 2.5 goals landing in each match too.
GAE lost their last match 2-1 on the road to Telstar, but they are in a great position to bounce back with a home win against a lowly Dordrecht. GAE is strong at home and has won five matches and drawn one against Sparta Rotterdam.
But, in that time they have scored 15 goals while conceding just three! Dordrecht managed to pick up their first point on the road against Jong PSV, but asides from that they have lost the other five.
This should be a fairly routine win for GAE and I can see them putting 3+ goals past Dordrecht. GAE are the top scorers in the league with 26 goals while averaging 2.17 a match while Dordrecht has the second worse defence, conceding 24 goals to an average of 2 a game.
