What a cracker of a FA Cup fourth-round tie we have Friday night. Two teams that love a goal, but both struggle at the other end means one thing. A lovely little both teams to score and over 2.5 goals pick at 19/20.
Now, the odds are short for this pick, but I have a fair bit of faith in it. Arsenal did manage to keep a clean sheet in their 2-0 win over Chelsea in their last home match, but the Blues have struggled going forward for quite a few games now.
Meanwhile, Man United are in fine scoring form, and I struggle to see that shaky Arsenal backline keeping them out. At the same time, Arsenal are a force at home, only failing to score once this season (Man City) while scoring nine goals in their last three home matches.
United have seen both teams score and over 2.5 goals land in eight of their last ten matches while Arsenal have seen it land in seven of their last ten matches. Also, both teams scoring and over 2.5 goals has landed in their last three H2H meetings in a row.
I am expecting goals galore, entertaining match this Friday, do not let me down, boys!
Onto the wonderful Bundesliga, where goals are usually plentiful. Hertha Berlin have seen both teams score in their last four matches in a row while conceding eight goals and scoring seven in the process.
Meanwhile, Schalke have seen both teams score in their last seven matches in a row. Schalke will want to continue their winning form in the run-up to their Champions League fixtures against Man City, but they will be in for a tough test against seventh-placed Hertha.
Hertha have only failed to score once at the Olympiastadion this season in their poor defeat to RB Leipzig. However, they have scored six goals in their last three home games and will fancy getting a goal or two against a Schalke team that has failed to keep a clean sheet in seven league matches.
