Two top teams go head to head in this match, with both in fine form. Ajax lost their first game of the season 2-1 to Roda away from home, but since then they have won 3 and drawn 1, scoring in every single game.
GA Eagles had a 100% start, until their 3-2 loss on the road against AZ last week. They will be keen to get back to winning ways but will find it tough against last season’s champions. GA Eagles will be confident in this match, after somehow securing the double over the champions last season, despite finishing 16 places behind them.
It will be a hotly contested game and should be a very good watch. But, we couldn’t pick an outright winner in this one. We believe Ajax will continue their 100% scoring record here, and GA Eagles have more than enough to get a goal or two themselves.
GA Eagles have seen both teams score in three of their last four matches, with the only clean sheet coming against a very poor Volendam. Ajax has seen both teams score in 14 of their last 15 matches. With their first clean sheet coming just last week away to AZ Youth.
Wigan are unbeaten at home this season, with three wins and one draw. But, there have been goals in those matches with three of them featuring over 2.5 goals and both teams scoring. Similarly, Bristol City have seen over 2.5 goals in three of their last four matches on the road, with both teams finding the net in two of them.
Bristol City were on an unbeaten run of four matches, before losing 4-2 to West Brom in their last match. But, they have scored in every away match so far.
Wigan have been playing dynamic, attacking football under Paul Cook. With new signings Nick Powell shining with three goals and four assists in seven matches. Both teams are more than capable of scoring goals, and both teams to score should come in fairly comfortably. Wigan have kept just one clean sheet at home, which came against a poor away side in Rotherham.
Both sides have featured in a high number of goals, with Bristol scoring 14, but conceding 12, and Wigan scoring 13 but conceding 11. It is hard to pick an outright winner in this one, so the BTTS looks good value at 9/13.
Almere City looks pretty good value for the win in this one and are unbeaten in six H2H meetings against Den Bosch. Almere have won their first three away matches so far, with a 3-1 victory over Jong Utrecht last time out.
But, both teams have scored in all six of their previous matches, and Den Bosch have scored at least one goal in all of their home matches so far. They have only failed to score against Sparta Rotterdam in their last match, but Rotterdam have a very strong side, and home record so it’s understandable.
Almere have scored in all of their matches so far, and have won three, drawn one and lost one. Almere could push for another away win here, but BTTS looks fairly likely with recent history and their H2H meetings stats.
