Can Harry Kane return to his prolific goalscoring ways this Saturday at the Amex? Just the two goals in five PL matches so far.
Brighton welcomes a limping Spurs to the Amex this Saturday, but can Spurs get back to winning ways? It’s not looking great. All five of Spurs PL matches have ended over 2.5 goals, with them losing their last two matches. To make things worse, they lost to Inter in the CL from two late goals, making it three losses in a row.
Brighton will go into this match with confidence, after already claiming a scalp in Man United this season. They also managed to reduce a two-goal deficit in their last two matches.
The Seagulls are solid at home and managed to score hold Spurs to a 1-1 draw last season. Spurs are still solid goalscorers and have scored in 22 of their last 23 matches, but we just don’t see them keeping a clean sheet in this one. Both teams to score represent good value at 4/5 in this one.
Will Burnley’s misery end anytime soon? Honestly, we can’t see them getting a win here. But, both teams have scored in six straight H2H meetings, and Bournemouth have only kept one clean sheet in their last 14 away matches.
But, Bournemouth are in fine scoring form, averaging 2 goals a game at the moment. Most recently their impressive 4-2 win over Leicester, but they have conceded two goals in their last three matches. And have only kept one clean sheet all season, against Cardiff at home.
It is hard to see Burnley getting much from this game, but they should be able to get a goal against a team that struggles to keep clean sheets on the road.
A match with two teams in good form, but who will win this one? Sunderland are currently fourth, with 4 wins, 3 draws, and one loss. Scoring 15 goals and conceding 8 in the process. But, they have only kept one clean sheet in four home matches. In fact, their clean sheet against Scunthorpe is the only one in their first eight matches.
They have seen both teams score in seven of their eight games this season, and come off the back of a 2-1 loss against Burton.
Rochdale are in fine scoring form this season, with 13 goals but they have conceded 16 in the process. They are on a good run of form though, with three wins and one draw in their last four matches.
They have scored in every away match so far, notching up eight goals in four matches on the road. Coming off a 3-0 win against Gillingham, and a 3-3 draw against Scunthorpe, we can see both teams scoring in this one.
The Hornets are up against a team that just cannot keep a clean sheet this season. Fulham have conceded at least two goals in every match so far, with a total of 12 goals in five games.
Watford had scored two or more goals in every match, up until the 2-1 loss to United last week. But, we think they will be just as clinical against a Fulham side that will struggle to keep them out.
But, Fulham are still capable of scoring, with a total of six goals in 3 home games so far. Mitrovic is in fine form for club and country and should pop up with a goal in this one.
Watford have seen both teams score in their last four matches, and Fulham are more than capable to score. In fact, Fulham have scored first in four of their last five matches.
Reading and Hull are in similar form, with them both scoring nine goals and conceding 13. Reading have seen both teams score in six of their eight matches, while Hull have seen five.
It will not be a game full of quality, but there could be plenty of goals. Reading have scored five goals in their past three games, including a 3-2 away win against Preston. But, they did lose to Norwich last time out 2-1.
Hull also lost 2-1 against Wigan last match, but are unbeaten in their last eight encounters with Reading. Both teams have scored in three of their last four H2H matches, and both will push for three points in this one.
Hoffenheim will be in good spirits after drawing their first CL match away against a very solid Shakhtar Donetsk. But, Hoffenheim have seen both teams score in their last six matches, and only have one win in the Bundesliga right now. Losing two and drawing the other. Yet, they have only failed to score in 1 of their last 24 competitive games and will fancy a goal against Dortmund.
The last eight H2H matches have seen both teams score, with Hoffenheim winning this fixture 3-1 last year. The other two home matches ended in a 2-2 and 1-1 draw. It looks like a solid both teams to score bet, to finish off out six-fold Acca.
Hoffenheim won their first home match 3-1 against Freiburg and will look to continue their strong home form from last season, which saw them win 11 times while scoring 38 goals in the process.
