A bit of an early kick-off upset on the cards tonight? There is certainly value in the home side scoring a goal or two.
Salzburg have scored 2+ goals in 5 of their last 6 UCL matches including the thrilling 4-3 encounter at Anfield back in October.
The home side certainly have a significant threat going forward, and Liverpool’s defence has been far from convincing this season.
Liverpool have kept just one clean sheet in their last 14 games in all competitions, but they have only conceded 2+ in 3 of those games.
Of course, this is a riskier bet than normal, but there is value in the odds.
The Reds only need a draw to ensure they qualify, but can I see a Jurgen Klopp side sitting back and defending? Probably not.
Meanwhile, Salzburg needs a minimum of three points to have any hope in qualifying for the next stage.
Let’s hope for another end to end display like the first leg at Anfield, and this bet should cruise home.
I am expecting a fair few corners for the hosts this evening, and the stats suggest so too.
Nottingham Forest are averaging 7.63 corners at home this season while Middlesbrough are conceding an average of 6.56 on the road.
The hosts are struggling to win games at the moment, but I see them applying a lot of pressure against this struggling Boro side.
At 2.15, I am more than happy to back over 6.5 corners for Nottingham Forest considering the stats so far this season.
Let me know if you find a better price for the double at any other bookie!
