EPL – Matchday 11 Betting Tips
Bournemouth vs Man United – 12:30
Who is braving the early kickoff for tomorrow’s action?
To be honest, the draw at 13/5 stands out the most to me. Bournemouth have drawn their last two games (0-0) while also drawing three of their first five home games. United have won their last three away games in all competitions and will come into this game with a bit of confidence. But, Bournemouth are a tough team to beat at the Vitality stadium.
United have won their last four meetings in a row against the Cherries though, but fatigue after the midweek clash against Chelsea may play a part in this one.
Still, I would avoid the match result pick in this one, and look at a niche market instead.
I see value in both teams picking up over 1 card each at 2.05 with bet365. Chris Kavanagh is in charge of tomorrow’s action, and he averages 3.50 yellow cards per game.
But, I can see him having a busy afternoon trying to control this game. Man United have picked up 21 yellow cards in their opening 10 matches to an average of 2.10 a game. Meanwhile, Bournemouth have picked up 20 yellow cards in 10 to an average of 2.00 a match.
These two have seen a total of 11 cards in their last two meetings at the Vitality Stadium, and I see this game being quite scrappy tomorrow.
If you want something more specific, Jefferson Lerma, Phillip Billing and Ashley Young are always a good bet for cards. They have managed four yellow cards each so far.
Arsenal vs Wolves – 15:00
Both teams to score at 7/10 immediately stands out for me in this game. The Gunners almost always score at home, netting in their last 26 games in all competitions. As for the Premier League, Arsenal have not failed to score at home since 12/08/18 against Man City.
Meanwhile, Wolves have improved their defence away from home in recent weeks, but they are certainly not used to it. They have only kept 2 clean sheets in their last 20 away games. But, they have scored in four of their last five on the road while beating Man City in the process.
Both teams have scored in both of their recent meetings last season, and I see good value in this trend continuing.
Also, a little bet builder that I like the look of. Arsenal over 1 cards, and over 5 corners at 2.21 with bet365’s bet builder feature.
To start, Arsenal have the worst disciplinary record in the league, averaging 2.60 yellow cards a game. Even without Xhaka, they should still manage two or more cards against a Wolves side that will get stuck into them.
As for the corners, Arsenal also boast the highest average of corners this season at home, with an average of 11.20 in the first five home games. Also, Wolves concede an average of 6.00 corners per game.
Watford vs Chelsea – 17:30
The late kickoff is an interesting game, and I am not quite sure how this one will go. But, I do think Chelsea have a decent chance of getting something from this game, and I think they will frustrate this Watford side.
Watford have the third-worst disciplinary record in the Premier League so far, averaging 2.10 cards per game in their first 10 matches. Chelsea are currently drawing in an average of 10.6 fouls per game, while Watford are committing an average of 10.8 fouls per game.
As for the betting angle, I like the look of Watford over 1 card and Chelsea over 0 cards at 1.95 with bet365’s bet builder.
Anthony Taylor is in charge of this game, and he averages a healthy 4.15 cards per game.
As for the Chelsea card we need, they have averaged 1.80 yellow cards a game so far, and if Jorginho starts, he is always good for a card!
Jorginho is priced at 3.60 to add to his four yellow cards this season if you fancy it.
