888 acquires BetBright’s Sportsbook!
888 agrees to £15m BetBright acquisition

Online gaming giant 888, has acquired BetBright’s sports betting platform in a deal worth £15m. 888 will now have complete ownership of all BetBright’s products including their Casino, Sports, Poker and Bingo.
888 said, “The BetBright sportsbook has been developed by a fantastic team and is a high quality and scalable platform.”It gives the Group the missing piece in our proprietary product and technology portfolio and will enable 888 to own proprietary, end-to-end solutions across the four major online gaming verticals.”
We can’t help but agree. BetBright is a solid sportsbook, that is designed brilliantly with an emphasis on mobile gaming.
But, they have not had a sports welcome offer for quite some time now. We are hoping 888 will re-introduce a solid welcome offer, hopefully, similar to 888Sport’s great new customer bonus.
888 said “The Group will begin the integration process of BetBright’s technology into 888 as a soon as practically feasible. The Group aims to begin a phased and market-by-market roll out of its proprietary sports book solution once integration is completed.”
BetBright was launched in 2013, as a fresh and unique sportsbook for the UK and Ireland.
BetBright has won several awards since its creation, including a unique award in June 2018. They were recognised for their creativity and innovation in online gambling, winning the “Innovation in sports betting award at the 2018 EGR Marketing & Innovation Awards.
You may recognise the BetBright brand from their 2018 deal with Nottingham Forest, as they became the official shirt sponsor for their 2018-19 season. The brand even altered the colouring of their logo to fit with Nottingham Forest’s traditional colour scheme.
888Sport offer one of the best sportsbooks in the UK, with a huge range of sports and markets available.
They offer competitive odds, that are often higher than the industry standard while providing hundreds of markets for popular leagues in a number of different sports including football.
