After Man United’s disappointment at home last night, will this follow suit, or will Spurs get a positive result tonight? Sadly, the new Spurs stadium will not be the only place to see the Champions League in London this year.

But, Wembley will have to do for the Spurs faithful. Tottenham just scraped through the group stages, but they are in fine form at the moment despite not having either Kane or Alli available. Spurs have won their last four games, and their most recent victory against Leicester (3-1) will inspire great confidence for tonight’s game.

However, they are up against the Bundesliga league leaders, Dortmund. Dortmund have a young, exciting and dangerous team, that are very capable of scoring goals. But, they also tend to leak a few goals, with recent matches showing their defensive vulnerabilities.

Also, injuries have plagued Dortmund this season, and they are without key first-team players in Akanji, Reus, Weigel, Alcacer and Piszcek. Marco Reus is one of the biggest misses for the German Giants, a star for Dortmund that has scored 17 goals and created 11 this season.

Dortmund have seen a dip in form, and are without a win in their last three games, drawing two and losing one. Their most recent disappointment saw them throw away a 3-0 lead at home, to finish in a 3-3 draw against Hoffenheim, with all three goals coming in the last 15 minutes of play.

This will likely give Spurs confidence in their ability to break down this Dortmund defence, but it will be no easy feat, and they will have to play at their best to keep Dortmund out.

Betting Tips

Firstly, Spurs are 6/5, the draw is 13/5 and a Dortmund win is 13/5.
