Everton v Man City – Betting Tips and Preview

Everton v Man City – Wed 6th Feb, 19:45, Goodison Park
Referee: Craig Pawson
Will Man City punish Liverpool for dropping points against West Ham on Monday night? City are looking for their sixth win in their last seven Premier League games tonight against an inconsistent Everton side.
Everton lost their last match at home (1-3) against Wolves last Saturday and have only won two of their last five Premier League matches. In fact, Everton have only won one of their last five home matches while drawing one and losing three.
But, they have only failed to score in one match at Goodison Park this season (Leicester) while seeing both teams score in eight home matches this season. Meanwhile, Man City have been quite solid asides from their 2-1 loss to Newcastle in their last away match.
There is hope for Liverpool fans as City have lost three of their last five away matches while winning two. City have conceded seven goals in their last five games on the road, and Everton might be able to take advantage of this.
However, I am not convinced Everton get anything from this game from the way they have been playing. Marco Silva is coming under real pressure after an underwhelming season so far despite spending a fair bit of money.
Everton have lost six of their last nine PL matches, and I struggle to see them challenging City too much if they do not drastically improve tonight.
Betting Tips
Firstly, Everton are a massive 11/1, the draw is 11/2 and a Man City win is 3/10.
Wow, there is little to no value in the win markets unless you are backing an Everton win or draw tonight.
But, there is a little bit of value in BTTS and match result Man City at 7/4 with 888sport. The odds are quite short for this market, but Everton are more than capable of scoring a goal tonight, only failing in one home match in their last 15 games.
On that note, BTTS still has great value at 10/11 with Betfred!
Yet, I can see City blowing away Everton tonight if the Toffees continue to play well below par for a team like Everton.
