Bournemouth v Brighton – Match Preview and Betting Tips

Bournemouth v Brighton – Sat 22nd Dec, 15:00, Vitality Stadium
Referee: Mike Dean
Bournemouth have lost six of their last seven matches, but how will they fare against a Brighton side that struggle on the road? This is a difficult game to call, but you have to fancy the Cherries with their home form.
Bournemouth have won four, drawn two and lost three at home this season. But, those three losses have come against Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United which is nothing to be ashamed of. Meanwhile, they have won against Huddersfield, Leicester, Palace and Cardiff. Also, drawing against Southampton and Everton.
The Seagulls have won two, drawn one and lost six on the road this season. But, they have scored seven goals in nine away matches while four of those goals have come from their centre-backs.
Bournemouth’s defence has been an issue this season, conceding 28 goals with 14 both home and away. But, they are the seventh-best attack in the league scoring 25 goals in 17 games this season.
Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser are combining amazingly this season and have combined for six Premier League goals which is more than any other duo in the league. Also, Wilson enjoys playing Brighton and has scored a goal in each of his last two appearances against the Seagulls.
Bournemouth have had the better of Brighton for quite some time, winning four and drawing one of their last five meetings in all competitions. In fact, Chris Hughton has never won against the Cherries losing three and drawing once.
Betting Tips
Firstly, Bournemouth are 10/11 to win, the draw is 5/2 and a Brighton win is 7/2.
I like the look of a Bournemouth win, but I think both teams will score. A BTTS match result Bournemouth is best priced at 3/1 with Betfair. Or you can opt for the Bournemouth win at 10/11 if you are building an acca.
For a longshot bet, I like Callum Wilson to score anytime and Bournemouth win 3-1 at 51/1 with BetVictor. Or, just Callum Wilson to score anytime which is best priced at 7/5 with Betway.
Also, Lewis Dunk has scored two away goals this season. I think he is worth a little punt at 14/1 to score anytime with 10Bet!
