Cardiff are looking for their first away victory this season, but will it come at Vicarage Road? Probably not, I see a draw at best for Cardiff in this match. On the road, Cardiff have lost six and drawn one while only scoring three goals.
Similarly, Watford have lost three and drawn two of their last five games while their last win came back in October against Huddersfield. But, they did come close against Everton at Goodison Park before conceding the 96th minute Lucas Digne free-kick.
But, Watford are struggling at Vicarage Road, losing four of their last five home matches while winning just one. Watford started the season well, winning their first three home games, but they are yet to draw at home this season.
Cardiff have lost their last five away matches in a row while conceding 13 goals and scoring three, and I struggle to see them keeping Watford out in this match. Although, Watford have only scored five goals in their last five home matches while conceding eleven.
But, they did play Man City, Man United, Liverpool and an in-form Bournemouth team in four of those losses. Watford should be able to get a result in this match against opponents that are still tipped for relegation this season.
