Man City v Everton – Match Preview and Betting Tips

Man City v Everton – Sat 15th Dec, 12:30, Etihad Stadium
Referee: Craig Pawson
What a dodgy early kick-off game to start Saturday’s football. I do not recommend betting on City who are best priced at 1/5 to win this one, while there could be value in Everton Double Chance at 18/5 with Unibet.
Personally, I avoid the early kickoffs as much as possible, as I cannot stand them ruining an acca before the rest of the games start. Also, the early kickoff curse is real guys… do not fall into its trap.
Everton has lost just one of their last six Premier League games while drawing three and winning two. That only loss came at Anfield to that late Jordan Pickford howler, in which Everton deserved at least a draw.
Man City are as rampant as ever, but they did lose at Stamford Bridge in their last match without even getting on the scoresheet. Before that loss, City had won seven games in a row before that in the League.
But, City’s form at the Etihad is where it gets scarily good. They have won their first eight games in a row while scoring 30 goals and conceding just 5. Everton will have to be at their very best to get anything at the Etihad this Saturday, but they do have a boost from City’s large injury list.
City are currently without nine players but, Fernandinho and Aguero could return for this match. Also, Everton are a bit of a bogey team for City, and they have drawn the last three Premier League games at the Etihad.
Everton are looking stronger than ever this season, with the in-form Richarlison scoring eight Premier League goals this season, but can they get a result this Saturday?
Betting Tips
Firstly, Man City are 1/5 to win, the draw is 13/2 and Everton are 14/1.
It is hard to look past this City team with their cracking home record this season. But, I can see Everton scoring in this match. Both teams to score is best priced at 17/20 with William Hill. Both teams have scored in four of their last five meetings.
However, I will personally avoid this match as I dislike betting on the early kickoff, but I like the look of a 2-1 win for Man City which is best priced at 10/1 with BetVictor!
