Crystal Palace v Leicester – Match Preview and Tips

Crystal Palace v Leicester – Sat 15th Dec, 15:00, Selhurst Park
Referee: Michael Oliver
Crystal Palace have lost their last two games in a row while conceding six goals and scoring three. Leicester City were unbeaten in six games before their loss to Spurs last game week.
Palace smashed Leicester in both games last season while scoring eight goals and keeping two clean sheets. In fact, Leicester have won just three of their last 14 matches at Selhurst Park in all competitions.
But, Leicester have been consistent on the road this season while scoring in their last nine Premier League away matches in a row. Palace were struggling in front of goal this season with just 13 goals this season while failing to score five home matches at Selhurst Park.
The Foxes have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five away matches while scoring six goals and conceding five. Palace have lost two, drawn two and won one of their last five home matches while scoring four goals and conceding four.
Crystal Palace will be disappointed in their last two results, after conceding two goals against the ten men of Brighton and losing 3-2 to West Ham at the London Stadium. But, they won their last home match (2-0) against Burnley and will look to get some crucial points on the board.
Wilfried Zaha has scored in his last two Premier League appearances against Leicester, while the Foxes joint top scorer (Jamie Vardy) could miss this game with a groin strain. But, James Maddison (also on five goals) could be a key danger man for the Foxes.
Betting Tips
Firstly, Crystal Palace are 17/10 to win, the draw is 11/5 and a Leicester win is 2/1.
Palace have been far from convincing this season, but Leicester have been struggling to finish off games. I can see this game ending in a draw which is best priced at 11/5 with bet365. But, I also like the look of both teams scoring and a draw which is best priced at 18/5 with BetVictor.
For a longshot, I like the look of a 1-1 draw with James Maddison to score anytime which is best priced at 45/1 with BetVictor once again.
