Man United v Fulham – Match Preview and Betting Tips

Man United v Fulham – Sat 8th Dec, 15:00, Old Trafford
Referee: Lee Probert
Are Manchester United turning into the draw specialists of the league? Three draws in a row makes you think. The Red Devils are well and truly out of the title race now as they slip down to 8th in the league, will they even finish in the top five?
United are eight points off fifth place right now and the teams above them do not look like slowing down anytime soon. Well, maybe Spurs will slip up towards the end, but the rest are looking good.
Joking, Spurs fans. I am sure you will do great when you get into your nice new stadium, and Levy allows one new signing in January. But, the stadium does look pretty nice, can’t wait to watch some NFL games there.
Anyway, United have one win in their last five matches in the Premier League, with one loss and three draws. They have seen both teams score in four of those five matches while still sitting on a -1 goal difference.
Fulham has the worst defence in the league, but it has slightly improved under Claudio Ranieri. They have conceded a whopping 36 goals to an average of 2.4 per game. Under Ranieri, they have conceded five in three games which sees a slight improvement.
But, surely United will have to win this game? I know it’s fun to see their misery build up, but it’s also pretty sad for a team of their history. Also, I want teams to be at their best to ensure the Premier League is the best and most competitive league in the world.
Jose’s United are sh*tting on that right now with their laughably poor performances, and comical mistakes at the back.
Betting Tips
Firstly, a United win is 4/11, the draw is 19/4 and a Fulham win is 19/2 with Betfair.
So, Man United have managed just two clean sheets in the Premier League this season while conceding 25 goals in 15 matches. They have conceded in all but one of their matches at Old Trafford in the PL while scoring in all but one.
I can see both teams scoring once again, and it is best priced at 10/11 with Betfred. But, I think/hope United will pick it up and get a win tomorrow. A BTTS match result is best priced at 15/8 with Betway.
United seem to be stuck at scoring two goals a match at the moment, so a nice 2-1 United win seems about right and is best priced at 8/1 with BetVictor. But, for my longshot, I want the in-form Martial as an anytime goalscorer with 2-1 correct score at 40/1 with BetVictor!
