Leicester v Spurs – Match Preview and Betting Tips

Leicester v Spurs – Sat 8th Dec, 19:45, King Power Stadium
Referee: Craig Pawson
Leicester are unbeaten in their last six games in a row while drawing four and winning one. Will Spurs spoil that unbeaten run in tomorrow’s late, late kickoff? It is that strange late, late kickoff at 19:45, but it does mean we get three TV games tomorrow.
All three of them have the potential to be crackers too! Bournemouth v Liverpool, Chelsea v Man City and this match. Super Sunday? More like Super Saturday… But seriously, I am looking forward to all three games.
Spurs are in fine form this season, sitting in third with seven wins and two losses on the road. Although, those losses came to an in-form Watford and the thrilling North London Derby. But, they did bounce back from that loss with a solid 3-1 win against Southampton.
Leicester have been involved in some pretty dull games lately, with just seven goals in their last five Premier League games. They have scored five of those goals while only conceding two, but they will be in for a tough time against Spurs.
Tottenham have scored in every away match this season while scoring two or more goals in six of their nine matches on the road. Leicester have managed two clean sheets in their last two games, but I see them conceding a goal or two tomorrow night.
These two have been involved in some pretty high-scoring matches, with a whopping 19 goals in their last six meetings. Including a 5-4 thriller at Wembley last season. When these two meet, goals are aplenty, with 34 goals since Leicester’s promotion to the PL in 14/15 season.
Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane both love a goal in this fixture, with Vardy scoring four in his last seven PL matches against Spurs. While Harry Kane has scored 13 goals in 11 matches against Leicester.
Betting Tips
Firstly, Leicester are 3/1 for the win, the draw is 11/4 and a Spurs win is 42/41 with Unibet.
I see both teams scoring in this fixture, but at 6/10 there is very little value. However, I like the look of BTTS Spurs win which is best priced at 11/4 with bet365.
Also, Harry Kane has been involved in eight goals in his last three appearances against Leicester. Kane to score two or more goals is best priced at 4/1 with BoyleSports.
Longshot bet, I like the look of Kane to score anytime, correct score 3-1 Spurs, which is best priced at 39/1 with BetVictor!
