Watford v Man City – Match Preview and Betting Tips

Watford v Man City – Tue 4th December, 20:00, Vicarage Road
Referee: Paul Tierney
Can Watford break their four-game winless streak against the league leaders? Honestly, I struggle to see Watford getting on the scoresheet. The Hornets have scored just one goal in their last four games while losing three and drawing one.
Considering their great start to the season, this is a terrible time to face a Man City side that cannot stop winning in the Premier League. City have won their last six Premier League matches in a row while scoring a whopping 3+ goals in their last four matches in a row.
Also, City have conceded just six goals this season as their defence is looking much better. Although, that must be expected when you spend £203.3m on your defence with the additions of Mendy, Walker, Ederson, Danilo and Laporte.
But, Mourinho has spent quite a lot on his defence and they are just woeful, so maybe it is a credit to Pep. Either way, I do not see Watford scoring in this match. Or at the very most, just the one goal.
Watford have not fared well in this fixture in recent history, losing their last six matches in a row. At Vicarage Road, Watford have lost 6-0, 5-0 and 2-1 in their last three meetings with Man City.
I just do not see things improving for this struggling Watford side tomorrow night.
Betting Tips
Firstly, Man City are 1/3 for the win, the draw is 5/1 and a Watford win is 21/2 with BetVictor.
I like the look of Man City to win both halves, which is best priced at 17/10 with Unibet. City will start this game with their usual intensity, and I do not see Watford keeping them out for long. Also, this City team does not relent, they will push for goals constantly.
Raheem Sterling just cannot stop scoring at the moment, I feel like he is going to cause all kinds of problems tomorrow. He is best priced at 6/5 to score anytime with bet365.
I like the look of Man City 4-0 which is best priced at 14/1 with bet365. City have won 6-0 and 5-0 previously at Vicarage Road, but I feel 4-0 will land this time around…
