Bournemouth v Huddersfield – Match Preview and Tips

Bournemouth v Huddersfield – Tue 4th Dec, 19:45, Vitality Stadium
Referee: Roger East
Bournemouth have lost their last four games in a row, can they get a well-needed home win tomorrow night? In the Cherries defence, they have played some nice football and losing to Man United (2-1), Arsenal (2-1) and Man City (3-1) is nothing to be worried about.
But, they did lose to Newcastle (2-1), however, the Magpies hit a bit of good form with two early goals from Rondon securing all three points. I have still been impressed while watching the Cherries as they show no fear against teams, even when playing City at the Etihad.
Bournemouth deservedly went level just before halftime at the Etihad from a Callum Wilson header. But, City’s superior quality eventually proved too much as they went on to score a further two goals to win 3-1.
Honestly, Bournemouth were 30/1 to win before that game, and they gave a good go at it. But, the Cherries will need to win this game against a poor travelling Huddersfield team.
The Terriers are starting to play a little bit better, and scored after 55 seconds against Brighton. But, Steven Mounie was shown a red card at 32 minutes, and it proved a decisive turning point in the match.
Huddersfield won their first game on the road against Wolves last time out to make it their second away win in sixteen matches. Simply, the Terriers do not travel well and I see them struggling here.
Asides from the Cherries 2-1 defeats to Arsenal and Man United, Bournemouth have won three games and drawn two at home. They have only failed to score in one home match against Southampton (0-0 draw).
Betting Tips
Firstly, Bournemouth are 3/4 to win with bet365, the draw is 14/5 and a Huddersfield win is 9/2 with Betfair.
I like the look of BTTS which is best priced at 20/23 with Betfair. The Cherries have seen both teams score in their last four matches in a row while Huddersfield have scored in all but one of their matches on the road this season.
But, I think the Cherries will come out on top with a win tomorrow night. They are 3/4 for the straight win, but I see value in the BTTS match result which is best priced at 11/4 with Betfair!
Also, Callum Wilson is in fine scoring form at the moment, but he also loves a goal against Huddersfield, and he scored a hat-trick in this fixture last season. Wilson is best priced at 7/5 with Betway to score anytime.
Longshot pick, I like the look of Wilson to score anytime and Bournemouth win 2-1 which is 31/1 with BetVictor.
