PSG v Liverpool – Match Preview and Betting Tips
PSG v Liverpool – Wed 28th Nov, 20:00, Parc des Princes
PSG could be without Neymar and Mbappe, but they could be training today, and reports say Mbappe will be available for tomorrow nights clash. If they do not play, it will be a big miss for PSG.
Neymar has been directly involved in 13 goals in his 11 Champions league appearances (9 goals, 4 assists) while Mbappe has been involved in 11 goals in his last 10 CL matches (6 goals, 5 assists).
Liverpool have been a little bit off their game as of late, and have lost their last two Champions League games on the road. It was a very disappointing loss against Red Star Belgrade, but more acceptable against a strong Napoli side.
However, Liverpool will need a result from this game to qualify as the group is only separated by two points now. But, it will be no easy trip to the French capital.
PSG are crushing their league, winning all 14 games this season while scoring 46 goals and conceding just 7. Also, PSG are a tough team to beat at home, with only two losses in their last 30 home Champions League matches while winning 19 and drawing nine.
I thought PSG looked pretty bad in their 3-2 loss at Anfield, and they were fairly lucky to even score those two goals. Liverpool were dominant throughout the match and deservedly won in the end. But, I haven’t seen that Liverpool in quite a few matches now.
I see value in a PSG win and btts which is best priced at 5/2 with BetStars. If Liverpool performs as bad as they have in their last two away matches in the CL, I struggle to see them keeping this rampant PSG side at bay. Also, PSG’s strong home form makes it hard to see Liverpool getting a result in this game.
Also, I see quite a few goals in this match from both sides. Liverpool have certainly improved on their defence from last season, but they will have to push for a result in this match while PSG are just scoring for fun right now.
Over 3.5 goals is best priced at 13/10 with Betfair.
