Can PSG Finally Win the UEFA Champions League?

Can PSG finally win the UEFA Champions League? Well, only one French team has had the honour of lifting the UEFA Champions League Trophy, and that was Marseille back in 1993.
However, that solitary win was surrounded by controversy as Marseille were found guilty of match-fixing in their title-clinching match against Valenciennes.
Marseille bribed Valenciennes to lose that match so they would win the league early, and focus on their Champions League final against AC Milan.
This resulted in them being stripped of their league title, banned from defending their CL title the next season and relegated to Division 2.
PSG are facing some controversy of their own after UEFA has reopened its investigation into a potential breach of financial fair play rules.
PSG signed Neymar for a record £200 million and within weeks agreed to a loan deal for Kylian Mbappe with an obligation to buy for £166 million.
If found guilty, PSG could face exclusion from European competitions for one or more seasons.
Can PSG win the 18/19 Champions League?
Asides from the FFP business, PSG have had a terrific start to their season. In fact, they have made the best start to a season for 66 years with 13 wins in their first 13 league matches. They are already as short as 1/250 to win the league with bet365.
While winning their opening 13 matches they have scored 45 goals while only conceding 7 as they sit 13 points clear at the top of the table. PSG often have terrible odds, but you can get some good value using special offers.
Young Kylian Mbappe is leading the way with 11 goals and 5 assists while Neymar is close behind with 10 goals and 6 assists.
But, they sit in third in their CL group after four matches with 1 win, 1 loss and two draws. They will need to beat Liverpool at home and Red Star away to ensure they progress to the knockout stages.
Personally, I do not think this is PSG’s year to win the Champion’s League. They still seem to be vulnerable at the back as Liverpool demonstrated in their convincing victory at Anfield. Yes, it finished 3-2, but the scoreline did not reflect how Liverpool dominated that game throughout.
