Wolves v Watford – Match Preview and Betting Tips

Wolves v Watford – Sat 20th Oct, 15:00, Molineux Stadium, Ref: Lee Mason
Wolves spent big on their journey to the Premier League and man it is paying off. They have seemingly got better with each passing game and come up against an out of form Watford team. Watford are only the second team in PL history to win their opening four matches, then fail to win any of the next four.
Conversely, Wolves have racked up a haul of 15 points from their opening eight matches which is the best start by a promoted team since the 08/09 season. Wolves are very well organised in defence and I can see them winning to nil in this match. They have conceded just six goals in eight games and managed four clean sheets in four of their last five matches.
The Hornets got hammered by Bournemouth in their last match and will be without the suspended Jose Holebas and Christian Kabasele. They have now lost four of their last five matches in all competitions while managing just one draw. I struggle to see their fortunes improving in this and can see a fairly comfortable Wolves win.
I certainly see value in the Wolves win which is best priced at 4/5 with Bethard. Also, I see value in Wolves to win to nil which is best priced at 19/10 with BetVictor. The choice is ultimately yours, but Wolves are more than capable of keeping teams out and winning the game as they have done so four times this season.
On the same token, I can’t see it being a high scoring affair and I like the look of under 2.5 goals which is best priced at 4/5 with BetVictor.
