Arsenal v Watford – Match Preview and Tips
Arsenal v Watford – Sat 29th Sep, 15:00, Emirates Stadium, Ref: Anthony Taylor
Can Arsenal make it five Premier League wins in a row? It looks pretty good for them right now. Watford are still in great form and will be a threat going forward. But I think their excellent start to the season is going to start to fade. Yet, I can see them getting on the scoresheet against an Arsenal that has kept just one clean sheet in all of their matches so far.
The Gunners are actually on a six-game winning streak in all competitions and look very dangerous under Emery. Yet, there are some serious defensive issues that need addressing, maybe with some new players altogether. Arsenal have often got the best of Watford, winning eight of their 10 PL meetings, but Watford have won two in their last three meetings.
The value isn’t great for both teams to score, but it should come in with ease. With Watford scoring two or more goals in every match bar their away draw to Fulham. In which they had more than enough chances to kill the game in the first half. And Arsenal’s defensive frailties are clear for all to see.
Everton had plenty of chances in Arsenal’s first clean sheet of the season, but Petr Cech came to their rescue on numerous occasions. I still think Arsenal will win this game, with their firing power looking strong after starting Lacazette and Aubamayeng together.
There could be value in BTTS match result Arsenal, but we also like Lacazette as an anytime goalscorer at evens with Unibet. The BTTS match result is best priced at 13/8 with Betway.
