Bournemouth vs Leicester – Match Preview and Tips
Bournemouth vs Leicester – Sat 15th Sep, 15:00, Vitality Stadium, Ref: Craig Pawson
It has been a fairly decent start for Bournemouth so far, with two wins, one draw and one loss. The home win against Cardiff was as convincing as they come. Followed by a good away win against West Ham and a fair draw against Everton. The 2-0 loss against Chelsea away was not reflective of their opportunities in the game though. How they didn’t score with the chances they had, still baffles us.
Their only clean sheet came against Cardiff at home, but we do not think it will be another for the Cherries. Leicester have had a mixed start to their season too. Their opening away defeat to United was fairly unlucky for the chances in the game. They followed that up with impressive wins against Wolves at home and Southampton away. Before slipping to a defeat against Liverpool.
Liverpool were far from convincing in that match, managing just 48.8% possession and four shots on target. After a good first half for the Reds they seemed a bit nervous in possession, then Alisson gifted Leicester a goal from a terrible mistake. It was certainly a nervy finish for Liverpool fans, but they managed to hold out for their fourth win in a row.
James Maddison played another fantastic game and was strangely withdrawn with 10 minutes to go. He would have been a positive influence if they kept him on the pitch as he bossed the midfield for Leicester.
Betting Tips
Bournemouth are yet to lose against Leicester, with one win and five draws in their last six meetings. As a manager, Claude Paul is yet to lose to the Cherries winning one and drawing two. For me, there is a lot of draws going on in these H2H fixtures. So much so, it’s pretty hard to ignore.
Vardy will be back from suspension and is the main man for Leicester when it comes to scoring goals on the road. He has nine of their last 17 away goals to his name. We can see both teams scoring in this match, but its hard to call a winner.
A BTTS draw bet is looking the best at 7/2 with BetVictor. Their past three games have ended in draws, with two 1-1 draws and one bore draw.
On some betting sites, you can combine two correct score bets, if you have that option 0-0 and 1-1 could be a good bet.
Jamie Vardy to score in this match is best priced at 28/17 with Unibet if you like the look of his away scoring record.
