Betting Review
Gameday 1 can be a tough time for many punters. New players and managers all adjusting to the punishing reality of the Premier League. For this reason, it can be hard to predict outcomes based on very little to go by but pre-season form and new signings potential. In fact, the Premier League is notoriously hard to predict throughout the whole season, not just matchweek 1.
At the moment these tips are just a rough guideline for anyone looking for betting inspiration. Soon we will have a separate page with tips that we back and research fully. We will write a betting review each week for full disclosure and transparency.
Winning Tips Betting Review
Burnley
A game that was destined to be a tight affair from the very start. Burnley had a great start to the game with brilliant saves from Alex McCarthy denying both Lennon and Hendrick. Hart also had a great debut for Burnley saving effort’s from Ings, Lemina and Stephens whilst Ashley Westwood cleared a shot off the line from Elyounoussi.
Burnley or draw at Evens with Unibet had good value in the end.
Liverpool
Our main tip of Liverpool winning to nil came in comfortably with Alisson having a fairly straightforward debut. Somehow best priced at 21/20 with Betfred it had great value considering Liverpool’s home record since Van Dijk made the move.
Wolves
Our pick being over 2.5 goals best priced at 11/10 with Betway came in fairly easily, in which could have been a very open game if Everton weren’t reduced to 10 men in the 40th minute.
Bournemouth
Home win best priced at evens with 10Bet and was even part of our winning treble with 10Bet. Our tasty treble with Spurs, Chelsea and Bournemouth all to win at 6.93 with 10Bet. Bournemouth cruised to victory and even had a penalty saved in the 34th minute. Cardiff managed just one shot on target all game in a fairly average display.
Spurs
A Spurs away victory at 21/20 with Bethard came in after key Tottenham players were cleared to start. It certainly wasn’t straightforward for Spurs though with Newcastle equalising 2 minutes after their first goal. Diame and Rondon both struck the woodwork in the second half as Newcastle pressed for the equaliser.
Chelsea
To win to nill at a great value of 8/5 with BetVictor came in nicely as Chelsea dominated Huddersfield throughout the game. The Terriers came close with a header from Mounie hitting the woodwork, but still only managed 1 shot on target all game.
Losing Tips Betting Review
Man United
Both are correct score and Man United to win to nil bets failed in the dying minutes of the game from a typical Jamie Vardy goal. The man has now scored more goals against top-six opposition than any other strikers since 2014. In this time he has scored 4+ goals against five of the current “top six” clubs including 7 against Liverpool.
Watford
A game we thought was going to be a lot closer than it was. In fairness, we did tip Watford draw no bet but also a draw by itself. The draw no bet Watford would have been used for a bankroll builder when we get the betting tips page up and running.
Fulham
Not the best start to their Premier League campaign. With all the new signings a certain hype was built around the team with what they could achieve this season. We thought it would have been closer and backed the draw.
Man City
We went for a match result BTTS in this game and really Arsenal should have done a lot more to pressure City. Lacazette had a brilliant chance but fired just wide of the post. But, City was very dominant and could have easily scored more.
