Betsson may be one of the lesser-known bookies, but they have a nice stylish design and are a part of Swedish Betsson AB. One of the worlds largest gaming groups.

At the time of this review, there are no free bets or sign up offers available. I see there is a tab explaining how to use a risk-free bet so they may offer that at some point. However, right now there are no offers. If you want a bookie full of promotions, check out BoyleSports or Betway.

Appearance and Navigation

Betsson has gone for a simplistic design and layout for their sportsbook. It's safe to say it works extremely well! The site is clutter-free and empty-looking in general. It has only the necessary information you need which is great. The sports list is down the left side as normal with a popular list and search bar.

There are only four tables of information on the main page, live games to the right. Starting soon, Football and most popular events with 6 different sports on the left side. It is a really simple design but that's what makes it so effective. There is no need for an overload of information like so many other sites.

The colour scheme works to great effect, simple black on white with a nice bright orange to highlight key tabs. There is a separate colour scheme for the live games on its page too. You will see a black background this time with white writing. The colour to highlight tabs is now a nice green and again it works great.

Overall, I love the simplistic design of this site. It is so easy to navigate, read and understand with little effort.

Betting Markets

Betsson has 27 different sports to choose from. Ranging from popular sports like Football, Tennis, Basketball, etc. To the smaller sports like E-sports, Gaelic sports, pesapallo and more. Overall they have more than enough sports for most punters, with impressive choice in those sports too. However, it can be said that the depth is not as impressive as some of the bigger sites that offer so many leagues/events for each sport. If you are looking for more depth in markets check out Unibet or William Hill.

For the events Betsson has on their site, the betting types are more than enough for many punters. The average football match has over 90 different betting types. You can tell it is a Swedish site as their Ice Hockey markets are huge, with well over a 100 different markets to bet on in the NHL. Their Basketball and Handball also has respectable market depth with each having over 20 markets.

In brief, Betsson has impressive market depth in a wide variety of sports. Yes, it is not as many as other bookies, but it is more than enough for the average punter. It's more the design that is so attractive and easy to use that will make it shine over others.

Live Betting and Streaming

The live betting page itself is an awesome, very nice design and laid out. There is also an "Old Live" tab in which an older design for live betting can be seen. Choosing between two different types of live betting is a nice feature. In the games that Betsson offer the market depth is good for a smaller site. However, it is noticeable that there are fewer games on offer than the bigger sites. At the same time, if you don't bet on the obscure leagues/events this isn't an issue for you.

The page itself has the infographic to the right and the teams to the left with all the odds and markets below. It is fast and easy to select a bet which is crucial to live betting. But, it can be said that the stats of the games are basic. In football, I could only see 5 different live stats. Goals, corners, cards(Both yellow and red) and free-kicks. Not enough stats to appreciate the live events of that game.

At the time of this review, Betsson has a whole page to explain their live streaming service. You will find this in their "How to Live Stream" tab in the orange horizontal bar near the top. Betsson offers thousands of hours of sports for free on their live stream in the sportsbook. All you need is money in your account and you are good to watch.

In conclusion, Betsson is an awesome bookie with a great, user-friendly design. The depth in sports and market is more than enough and their live betting page is unique and special.

Their award-winning customer service and fast response times are what every sportsbook should strive to provide.  Also, we love their live streaming page, not only explaining in great depth how to use it but having the service in the first place.

However, we would like to see more in-game stats and also the lack of promotions and rewards is an issue they need to address. But, we can easily recommend Betsson as a solid sportsbook worthy of your time.
